Question:

Q. How do I pay for my course?

Answer:

A. Once you have applied for your course you will receive an email with instructions on how to make payment for your course.

Question:

Q. I have some extra needs for support with online work, will I get help?

Answer:

A. The type of help we can give you consists of offering advice and support with online access issues you might have due to a sensory disability, or a motor disability which affects your access to working online.  The courses we have are not currently available in different languages. If you have a specific learning disability like dyslexia, we may be able to offer you some support with this.

Question:

Q. I have submitted work to my tutor but haven’t heard anything, should I be concerned?

Answer:

A. Once you have submitted your assessment, markers are allocated 7 days to return this to you.  You should be able to logon to your course to see if your feedback has been returned.  This can be fond in my assessment or my portfolio tab depending on the learning platform you are working on.

If you are studying via paper it can take a bit longer to receive feedback given the postage timings etc.

If it has been more than 7 days since you submitted your work, then please email us on onlinelearning@wcs.ac.uk and we will look into this ASAP for you.


Question:

Q. I will not be able to meet my submission deadline

Answer:

A. All extensions are required to be completed with the Online Learning Team.  Markers cannot authorise an extension.  Please contact the office via onlinelearning@wcs.ac.uk and we will get back to you with details of possible extensions

Q. I’ve moved address or changed my mobile phone/email address – how do I let you know?

Answer:

A. Please email us with your name, course, date of birth and your new or updated details to onlinelearning@wcs.ac.uk and we will get this updated for you.

Q. What happens if I do not submit an assessment within the due date?

Answer:

A. You will receive a reminder in most cases if your assessment is overdue. If you know you are going to be late, you can get in touch the Online Learning team to request an via onlinelearning@wcs.ac.uk  If you wish a long extension, or to put your course on hold because of life circumstances we can discuss this with you and let you know the best option available to you. 


Question:

Q. What if I have concerns with undertaking the course?

Answer:

A. If you are experiencing difficulties doing the course, get in touch with the Online Learning Team as soon as possible.  Most cases we can help with quickly and keep on track with your course.  You can contact us via email  at onlinelearning@wcs.ac.uk
